Judith Amaechi Commiserates With Patience Jonathan Over Death Of Her Mum

Wife of the Rivers State governor, Dame Judith Amaechi has commiserated with the country’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan over the death of her mother, Mrs. Charity Oba.

Mrs. Amaechi in a statement by her Media Assistant, Dike Bekwele said that the death of Mrs. Oba was indeed a great loss to Rivers State in particular, especially the Obah’s family and the nation at large.

Also the Senate President David Mark and his wife commiserated with the First Lady, Patience on same.

She said that she was very devastated on the news of the death of Mrs. Obah, mother of Nigerian First Lady, who died in a motor accident on Elele Road, on her way to Bayelsa State, adding “Mama Oba’s death occurred when her motherly role and wealth of experience was needed for our nation’s building.”

The governor’s wife prayed the Almighty God to grant Mrs. Patience Jonathan and the Oba’s family in Rivers State, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Also the Senate President David Mark and his wife, Helen Wenesday commiserated with the First Lady, Patience Jonathan over the death of her mother, Madam Charity Fyneyaco Kalada, who died in an auto crash along Elele-Isiokpo road, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

Senate President Mark in a condolence message to President Goodluck Jonathan, the First Lady, Dame and the entire First family said the death of Late Madam Kalada was heartbreaking but, stressed that, “God gives life and take at will”.

In a statement by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, Senator Mark said, “This is very sad, it is indeed a great loss. I can only console our dear First Lady to take solace in the fact that Madam Kalada lived a life full of passion and dedication to the betterment of humanity. Her motherly counsel and encouragement would be seriously missed.”

The Senate President urged the First family not to be depressed but be courageous while praying to God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

On her part, the Wife of the President of the Senate, Mrs. Helen Mark counseled the First Lady and the immediate family of the deceased to strengthen their faith in God during this period of painful loss of their mother.
