AS the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, formally pitched tent with All Progressives Congress, APC, a group, the South-South Movement for Atiku, SSMA, has said that the Turaki Adamawa, by joining APC, would bring the desired change that is urgently needed in the South South region as well as the entire country, come 2015.
In a statement by its National Youth Coordinator, Chief Benjamin Nomuoja, the group said: “We wish to welcome Alhaji Atiku to our great party, the APC. As a party formed on the basis of change and good governance for the entire Nigerian nation, we are happy that Alhaji Abubakar has decided to be part of the great wind of change currently blowing accross the country.
“As a group, we have resolved to be part of Atiku’s political structure both at home and in diaspora. We have a strong track record of our global presence as well as in the South-South region of Nigeria.”
