Brazil 3-0 Japan: Neymar volley opens Confederations Cup in style

The new Barcelona acquisition turned in a superb display to inspire the Selecao to three points and keep their hopes alive for a third consecutive Confederations Cup title

Brazil got their Confederations Cup title defence off to the perfect start with a thrilling 3-0 victory against Japan in Brasilia.

Goals from Neymar, Paulinho and Jo ensured the Selecao maintained their unbeaten record against the Asian champions with a convincing performance to alleviate some of the pressure on Luiz Felipe Scolari's shoulders.
