Delta kidnap kingpin nabbed in Port Harcourt

Notorious Delta kidnap kingpin, Kelvin Ibruvwe, has finally been nabbed.
He was smoked out from his hideout in Port Harcourt by a special security squad dispatched from Abuja a few days ago.
Kelvin, with his well armed marauders, said to be numbering about 300, A few days ago, gave the Federal Government a 60-day ultimatum to address every form of marginalisation meted out on the Urhobo nation.
The kingpin and his cohorts defied the fact that he was on the wanted list of all the security agents in Delta State by coming out in broad daylight to issue a warning to the federal might.
Kokori, Kelvin’s fortress, as gathered, has been taken over by soldiers, who are now keeping surveillance of the entire community to forestall any breach of the peace.
His people were said to be his strength as they believe in his struggle to emancipate his people from meaginalisation, just as some politicians for Urhobo were also said to be giving him some backing for their selfish political gain.
Kelvin was allegedly picked up in a hotel in PortHarcourt by men of State Security Service (SSS) while trying to escape from heavy security surveillance mounted against him.
However, there was heavy presence of armed security forces in the home town of Kelvin in Kokori yesterday. A source told Daily Champion that the Joint Task Force (JTF) has been in the town since the wake of the recent ultimatum given to the federal government by the suspect kidnapper and his cohorts.
The Kokori born kidnap kingpin, only last week resurfaced after almost a year he was declared wanted by the Delta State Police Command over activities relating to alleged kidnapping and sundry crime.
Another source who does not want to be quoted   said Kelvin was arrested along five of his boys in one of his hideouts the  hotel about 3.00 pm.
